Credits explained: what a generation really costs
How credits work, why longer and higher-resolution clips cost more, and how to stretch your plan.
Every plan comes with monthly credits. A generation uses credits based on the model, the length, the resolution and whether audio is on.
What changes the price
- Duration. A 10 second clip uses about twice the credits of a 5 second one.
- Resolution. Higher resolutions cost more.
- Audio. Turning on native audio adds a small flat amount.
- Model. Premium models cost more than fast or lite models.
You always see the exact cost on the Generate button before you spend anything.
Failed generations are free
If a generation fails for any reason, every credit goes straight back to your balance.
Top-up packs never expire
Need more in a busy month? Top-up packs stay in your account until you use them. Bigger packs give you more credits per dollar.
Put this into practice
Open the MirageGen AI studio, paste a prompt and see the result in minutes. Failed generations are refunded automatically.
